Akshaya Patra's Hubli team organised a programme to distribute footwear to all the beneficiary students of the Foundation's mid-day meal programme in Dharwad district. The programme was organised with the assistance of the Zilla Panchayat, Dharwad and DDPI.

Rajiva Lochana Dasa, President of Akshaya Patra and ISKCON Hubli-Dharwad, inaugurated the event alongside other dignitaries like Kariyappa Bisagal, Member, HDMC; and Chief Guest for the occasion Ramandeep Choudhury, CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Dharwad. Also at the event were Ellappa B Dasankop, Education and Health committee, Zilla Panchayat, Dharwad; Shivanagouda Hadimani, Education Officer;  N. I Nadaf, Education Officer, ‘Akshara Dasoha’, Panchayat, Dharwad.

While addressing the audience S.B. Kodli, DDPI (administrator) Dharwad, expressed his appreciation of Akshaya Patra's efforts and activities in working towards the development of school children in India.

Yagneshwara Dasa, Operations Manager of Akshaya Patra Hubli blessed the children for their overall success, and advised them to use these facilities being provided to their maximum benefit.
