A music concert supporting the Mid-Day Meal Scheme was organised in Dharwad on 9 August, 2015. The concert was conducted to help raise funds for Akshaya Patra. The concert was organised by Anusha Kulkarni and her family while Akshaya Patra coordinated the event. 

The chief guests at the event was renowned musician Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi; MLA, Hubballi, Aravind Bellad; and Unit President, Akshaya Patra, Hubballi, Rajiva Lochana Dasa, who inaugurated the event. At the programme, Rajiva Lochana Dasa spoke about the inception of Akshaya Patra and where the organisation has reached today.

The programme took off with Anusha Kulkarni singing Raga’s followed by a dance performance. Anusha is also Akshaya Patra’s Youth Ambassador who earlier helped raise $1,800 by spreading the word of the Foundation. Her dedicated service towards the cause is appreciated by all of us.
