Six members from the Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales (AIESEC ), a global youth organisation that develops leadership capabilities conducted workshops in and around Mangaluru city. the team alsp viisted the kitchen on 25 and 26 August, 2015. The objectives of these activities was to create awareness on hygiene, cleanliness and nutrition. The six member team constituted one student from Morocco, two from Egypt, and one each from Ukraine, Iran and Mexico. The team visited a number of Akshaya Patra beneficiary schools in the month of August and educated the children and school staff. They also gave insights into the efforts put in by The Akshaya Patra Foundation in providing hot nutritious meals to Government school children.
